when people of every party agree... that's leadership

Jake Hammond, Firefighter

Mark Robinson, Selectman, Winn

Gordon Street has not only done his part as a councilor and taxpayer of this community through helping maintain public safety, rec programs, and other important town level services; he has maintained professionalism and order through hard conversations. Gordon has also taken plenty of his own time to research and put "boots on the ground" while making informed decisions for our community.

To me, actions speak louder than words. Research, stats, statutes, and data are worth true analysis - not only in order to make informed decisions, but to pay proper respect to those who gathered that information first hand.

Gordon is a true representation of what Lincoln, Maine, should be. He's a very intelligent person with some fancy titles attached to his name and you'd never guess that through the way he carries himself in normal conversations. He is kind, he listens to the concerns of the people of our own, and he takes action.

I have no doubt he will be no different at a state level and it will be my honor to vote for him in November. And honestly, for the first time in my life it feels like someone in politics has truly "earned" their vote.

“I support Gordon for his hard work and common-sense approach to doing business.  Although we may be on opposite sides of the political spectrum, I feel it is important to work together to achieve success in a world where people have become too entrenched in  their personal beliefs and have lost sight of the big picture. Gordon possesses the skills to get things done, and I wholeheartedly support him.”

“As a pastor, a registered Maine guide, and a gun owner, I know that Gordon Street is the best candidate to represent Maine’s 28th House District. Throughout his life, Gordon has demonstrated the ability to both listen and lead. As a therapist, he listens carefully  to those in need. As a town councilor, he listens even to those who may disagree with him—an increasingly rare quality in politics today.

“Gordon knows our district because he is our district: hardworking, compassionate, and dedicated. He does not view constituents as Republicans or Democrats; he sees them as neighbors. I have had the privilege of getting to know Gordon through his years  of public service, and I can say with confidence that he does not represent political parties that ignore our needs—he represents us.

“Personally, Gordon is a strong, devoted Christian whose integrity and ethics are exactly what our district and our state need.”

“Gordon Street is a knowledgeable, compassionate man who will certainly look out for our best interests. He is well-connected through his profession, his work as town councilor and as a committed person of action in our community.

“Gordon's best quality is that he listens. He seeks the perspective of others and listens to understand their points of view. I strongly support him as a town councilor and equally support him in his bid for Maine State Legislator from our district. He is a  strong voice for what matters most to improve our lives.”

“Gordon Street  is someone I trust to represent me, the people of Lincoln, and all of Maine’s 28th Congressional District.

“Gordon really listens carefully. He talks with people and thoughtfully investigates issues in order to formulate his opinions, to make sound judgments, and to plan for action. I have seen this in his work on the Lincoln Town Council, in his approach to his  professional work, and in his advocacy work in the community. He makes himself available. He is intelligent. His honesty and integrity mean a lot to me. Did I mention that he really listens?

“Gordon has great and positive energy. He and his wife, Lee, are real assets to our community. I heartily and without reservation endorse Gordon Street for Maine Congress as well as for continued service on Lincoln Town Council.  I hope you will, too.”

“I support Gordon because he works hard and listens. He will sit with you and hear your thoughts, regardless of whether you agree. This is incredibly important to me. When interacting with Gordon, there will be no name-calling, no speaking down to you, no interrupting,  and no harsh words. This attribute is starting to be nonexistent in society.

“I know that I can sit with him and have a genuine human conversation, where we both can listen to each other, agree or disagree, and still continue to eat at the same table.  You don't have to vote for him, but he will listen to you regardless and that in  and of itself speaks volumes.”
